Privacy Policy

Sınav Saati is an iPhone app made by Inkless Labs. This page explains what the app stores, where it keeps it, and who it is shared with. The Turkish version is the original.

• We don’t ask you to create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
• Your study data stays on your phone. Inkless Labs cannot access it.
• Data leaves your phone in only three cases: when you turn on iCloud backup (to your own iCloud account), when you buy Premium (Apple and RevenueCat), and when you share something yourself.

What is stored on your phone

As you use the app, it keeps:

• Your exams: name, date and any important dates you add
• Your study time, subjects and daily goals
• Your mock exam results: correct, wrong and blank counts per section, and your notes
• Your flashcard lists, cards and review schedule
• Your notification preferences, theme and appearance settings
• Photos you pick as a wallpaper or profile photo

This lives in an app group folder that the app shares with its widgets. If Inkless, another app by the same developer, is also installed, the two apps share that folder: Inkless can show your study time and goal, and Sınav Saati can use your Inkless profile photo. This sharing happens only on your phone.

Deleting the app deletes this data; if Inkless is installed, the shared folder stays with it.

iCloud backup

iCloud backup is optional and comes with Premium. If you turn it on in Settings → Yedekleme, a copy of your study data is stored in Apple’s iCloud key-value storage in your own iCloud account and kept in sync across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Photos are not included.

We cannot see this copy; Apple’s iCloud terms apply to it. Turning the backup off deletes the copy in iCloud. If another of your devices still has backup on, that device uploads a new copy.

File backups and sharing

When you export a backup file, save a share card or share a flashcard list as CSV, the file goes wherever you choose in the share sheet (Files, AirDrop, a messaging app and so on). “Inkless ile Yazdır” hands the share card to the Inkless app on your phone.

Purchases

Apple takes payment for Premium; your card details never reach us. To check whether Premium is active we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous user ID created by the app and your purchase history (which plan, when it was bought, the trial), along with technical details such as the app version and App Store country. This is not linked to your identity and is not used for ads or tracking. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy for details.

Permissions

• Notifications: reminders are scheduled on your phone; we don’t send notifications from a server.
• Photos: the photo picker gives the app only the photo you choose. Something is added to Photos only when you tap “Save Image”, and for that we ask for add-only access.
• Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, Live Activity and Control Center: iOS runs these on your phone; nothing is sent to us.
• Motion: the shake-for-a-quote feature reads motion in the moment and doesn’t store it.

Children

Sınav Saati is made for students of every age. We collect no personal data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask about, correct or delete data concerning you. Because your data is on your phone and in your own iCloud account, you can export or delete it directly in the app. For anything about the anonymous purchase record at RevenueCat, write to us.

Changes

If we update this policy, we change the date on this page.
